Hi, I'm Ian Polak-Kime.
I'm an American living in France, and I've been teaching English around the world since 2018. I hold a CELTA, the Cambridge English teaching certificate.
Not everyone can move abroad to become fluent. I built Advanced Speakers Online to be the next best thing: the kind of class I always wished existed, for students and teachers alike.

- Who is it for?
- Upper-intermediate to advanced speakers (B2 and up). You already speak conversational English and want a place to really use it.
- Is my English good enough?
- Try a free discussion and find out. Your instructor will tell you honestly whether you're ready to continue.
- How big are the groups?
- 6 to 8 people, so everyone gets real speaking time and quality feedback.
- Do I need to prepare?
- No. All materials are provided. You just need a stable internet connection and a computer, tablet or phone.
- How do credits work?
- One credit is one 90-minute discussion. Buy a pack, then join any discussion on the schedule. Credits are valid for 6 months.
- Can I get a refund?
- Credits are non-refundable. That's why your first discussion is free: you can try it before you buy anything.
- Where do the discussions happen?
- Live and online, in your browser. There's nothing to install, and it works from your phone too.
